Styal Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. The positive relationships between pupils and staff create a friendly and caring environment where students feel safe and respected. The school sets high expectations for learning and achievement, providing effective support for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The curriculum is well-defined in most subjects, allowing pupils to achieve good outcomes, and the school is proactive in addressing attendance issues for a small number of students. However, there are some areas for improvement. In a few subjects, the curriculum does not clearly define what pupils should learn, leading to gaps in knowledge retention. Addressing this will help ensure that all pupils not only complete tasks but also remember and understand the key learning objectives. Overall, the school is well-regarded and takes thoughtful measures towards enhancing the educational experience for its pupils.
