Ireby CofE School continues to perform well as a good school, where pupils thrive in a supportive and welcoming environment. The relationships among pupils and between pupils and staff are very positive, contributing significantly to the school's strong community feel. The school has made substantial improvements to its curriculum over the past two years, particularly in ensuring that pupils engage well with their learning and achieve commendably, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Despite these strengths, there are a few subjects where the curriculum is still developing and may lead to gaps in pupils' knowledge.
