Five Ways Primary School has been identified as having areas that may not be performing as strongly as during its last inspection in 2019. While the school fosters a supportive community atmosphere with high expectations for behavior, some pupils, particularly vulnerable ones, have not received adequate support to meet these expectations. The curriculum is generally well designed, but there are concerns regarding pupils' achievement in mathematics and in retaining knowledge across various subjects. The school is actively working to address these issues, particularly in the support provided to pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). This is the school's first inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic.
