Mossgate Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. Pupils benefit from a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere that allows them to thrive. They are well-mannered and engaged in their learning, achieving notably well, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The curriculum is designed effectively to promote success, with opportunities for outdoor learning and enrichment activities that broaden pupils' experiences. However, there are some concerns regarding the clarity of knowledge in a few subjects, which can sometimes hinder pupils' ability to recall and apply what they have learned. While most pupils are doing well academically, this aspect requires attention to further strengthen their overall learning experience. This is the first routine inspection since the pandemic, but the school has adapted to maintain high educational standards.
