Westbourne Primary School has demonstrated strong overall performance with good quality education and outstanding behaviour and attitudes among pupils. The school has not been inspected previously under the current framework as it became an academy after a long exemption from routine inspection. Pupils are noted to be happy, engaged, and well-supported both academically and in their personal development. The leadership is clearly focused on maintaining high expectations and fostering a positive school community, which pupils appreciate as being like 'one big family'. The areas of concern primarily involve a need for clearer sequencing of knowledge in certain subjects.
