Tweeddale Primary School is performing well overall, with a 'Good' rating across all inspected areas. The school fosters a caring and safe environment where pupils are happy and eager to learn. Relationships among pupils are positive, underpinned by the recently introduced 'ASPIRE' values, which have contributed to improvements in pupil behaviour. Staff are dedicated and valued, and there is strong support from the Greenshaw Learning Trust. Despite the successes, the school acknowledges the impact of the pandemic on pupils’ resilience and has implemented support systems to address this. However, there is still work to be done to ensure all pupils, especially those with special educational needs, achieve their potential in a fully embedded curriculum.
