Copleston High School continues to maintain its status as a good school, demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusivity and high standards. The school's curriculum is ambitious and well-sequenced, and it is supported by knowledgeable staff whose professional development is highly regarded. Pupils exhibit exemplary behaviour and a positive attitude towards learning, as well as participation in a diverse array of extracurricular activities. However, some students struggle with attendance, which affects their overall achievement, and there are concerns regarding parental perceptions of support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

- English
- Maths
- 3 subjects from qualifications that count towards the English Baccalaureate (EBacc), like sciences, language and history
- 3 more GCSE qualifications (including EBacc subjects) or technical awards from a list approved by the Department for Education
