Neston High School, located in Neston on the Wirral Peninsula, is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status. Originally opened as Neston Secondary School in 1958, the school was rebuilt at a cost of £117,000 and officially opened by Selwyn Lloyd, who emphasized the role it played in fulfilling the revolutionary promises of the 1944 Education Act.

Notable facts include the school's conversion to academy status in July 2012, the designation as a Good school by Ofsted in January 2017, and its acknowledgment in the National Good Schools Guide in 2016. Neston High School began as a school for 320 students with space for 360, but has since enrolled upwards of 1665 students as of May 2013, with a capacity of 1,750. The school moved into new modern facilities in September 2017, constructed on the other side of Neston Recreation Centre from the original buildings.

It is an oversubscribed institution, attracting students from Chester, Wales, and The Wirral, and taking pride in its inclusive community. The school's mission is to provide an exciting, stimulating, and challenging educational journey for all students, evidenced by their state-of-the-art £22 million new build.

Neston High School offers a broad curriculum, including Spanish, French, or German in addition to subjects like Religious Studies, Art, Music, Drama, Technology, and Computing. In Key Stage 4 students study a core curriculum including English, Maths, Science, and PSRE/RE, alongside four other options. At the sixth form, students can choose from a range of A-levels and BTEC courses.

The school fosters community engagement with events like "Passport to Neston," which introduces new students to teachers before their first day of lessons. Neston High School aims to create a positive learning environment where academic growth and personal development are valued highly.
