The Halifax Academy is performing well overall, achieving a 'Good' rating in most areas and 'Outstanding' in behaviour, personal development, and leadership. The school's strong focus on character education and personal development is evident in the high levels of student engagement and confidence in their abilities. Although the academic performance has not yet returned to pre-pandemic levels, initiatives are in place to support students in catching up on lost learning, especially for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The school has successfully transformed its curriculum to better prepare students for their futures, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and strong community ties.
