Easington CofE Primary Academy is a small rural Church of England school within the Ebor Academy Trust, and it has improved since its previous inspection. Pupils are described as safe, included and well cared for, with positive behaviour and a calm atmosphere. Leaders have high expectations and have built a curriculum carefully tailored to mixed-age classes and the local context, alongside a wide range of wider experiences that broaden pupils' horizons. Reading is a particular priority, with bespoke phonics support helping pupils to read confidently and fluently.
