Hook Church of England Primary School is currently rated as requiring improvement overall. While students exhibit good behavior and attitudes, and personal development outcomes are adequate, the quality of education and leadership requires enhancement. The school benefits from being embedded in a supportive community, with staff who know the pupils and families well. There is an ongoing effort to develop the curriculum in collaboration with the Edukos Trust, but students are not yet receiving a consistently high quality of education as many subjects lack a clear sequence for learning. This is the school's first inspection since becoming an academy and, thus, the school has the potential to improve under the guidance of its leadership and the trust.
