Ashleigh CofE Primary is a good school that provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for its pupils. The school has made significant strides since its conversion to an academy in 2018 and this is its first inspection under the new framework. Pupils take pride in their school and benefit from a supportive pastoral team that aids their mental well-being and promotes positive behaviors. The leadership team has effectively centered reading in the curriculum, ensuring that pupils develop essential literacy skills from an early age. However, while the core subjects have shown clear improvement, some areas of the wider curriculum need more precise planning and assessment to fully gauge pupil understanding and progress.
