New Park Academy has demonstrated a good overall effectiveness in its first inspection since converting to an academy. The school fosters a nurturing environment where pupils achieve well, guided by clear routines and high expectations set by the leadership team. The academy adequately addresses the needs of its diverse student population, including pupils with special educational needs and those who are disadvantaged, by providing bespoke support and fostering positive relationships. However, there are some areas requiring improvement in specific subjects and in phonics instruction.
