Hopefields Education CiC is performing very strongly overall. The school, which caters for pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, most of whom have an education, health and care plan, has been judged exceptional for attendance and behaviour and for inclusion. Safeguarding standards are met, and all independent school standards are met. Pupils often join after disruption to their education and with significant learning gaps, but leaders provide a highly effective transition, strong pastoral support and a consistent approach that helps most pupils attend regularly, behave exceptionally well and engage positively in school life. The quality of education is also a notable strength. Achievement, curriculum and teaching, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing are all strong. Leaders have a clear understanding of the curriculum, prioritise important knowledge, and adapt teaching well to meet pupils' needs. Pupils gain appropriate qualifications and move on to positive destinations. Staff feel well supported, parents are overwhelmingly positive, and pupils speak highly of the care and support they receive. There are no significant weaknesses identified in the report. The only next step is for leaders to continue building on and sustaining the high standards already developed across the curriculum and teaching.
