Aurora Fairway School, which opened in September 2022, has received its first inspection and has been rated as good overall. The school provides a welcoming environment where students feel valued and respected, fostering strong relationships between staff and pupils. They focus on tailored educational programs that align with students' individual needs, interests, and ambitions, leading to a positive engagement with learning. Many students, especially those with previous negative educational experiences, find success and personal growth at this institution, which is particularly notable for its outstanding personal development program. While the school excels in many areas, including providing effective interventions and a broad curriculum, there are some identified concerns. Specifically, the alignment of lesson content and targeted interventions does not always effectively address knowledge gaps for some pupils. These areas present opportunities for leaders to enhance the depth and efficacy of the educational support provided, ensuring that all pupils can achieve their fullest potential.
