It has recently admitted pupils with severe learning difficulties and speech, language and communication needs, a change it did not notify to the Department for Education. Safeguarding standards are met, and inspectors found positive relationships between staff and pupils, calm and consistent behaviour management, effective pastoral support and a determined effort by leaders to improve attendance.
