Rectory C of E Primary School has shown mixed performance in its recent inspection, with overall effectiveness rated as requiring improvement. While strengths in behaviour and management have been noted, challenges remain in the quality of education and personal development, particularly due to gaps in pupils' knowledge stemming from previously weak curriculums. The early years provision, however, is commendable, providing a solid foundation for young children, and the school is beginning to take steps to improve its educational offerings, especially for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
