Fell Dyke Community Primary School has made significant improvements since its last inspection and is now rated as good overall. The positive atmosphere within the school fosters an environment where pupils are respectful, feel secure, and are encouraged to develop independence and resilience. Leadership has been effective in raising expectations for both staff and students, creating a culture that promotes achievement and personal development. The school's curriculum is well-structured in many areas, although some foundation subjects still need refinement to enhance the learning experience fully. In early years, the school ensures children develop strong foundational skills in reading and communication. With effective safeguarding measures in place, the emotional and practical support provided by staff contributes significantly to the pupils' well-being. While there are numerous strengths, the school is aware that adjustments are needed in the curriculum delivery of certain subjects to ensure a more coherent progression for all students.
