Marlborough School is a smaller-than-average primary school that is performing well overall. Published data also indicates that disadvantaged pupils’ combined reading, writing and mathematics and mathematics outcomes are below national averages, although small cohorts mean some data is suppressed. Leaders should continue to embed consistency across all staff roles to sustain improvement. The school has clear next steps to strengthen wider-curriculum learning and staff consistency.
