Shotton Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its 'good' status since its last inspection in 2012. The school is characterized by a joyful environment where pupils feel safe and supported. Strong relationships between staff and students contribute to a positive atmosphere, and there is a proactive approach to addressing students' mental health and well-being. While the school has made efforts to address learning gaps resulting from the pandemic, some areas of the curriculum still require improvement to ensure that key knowledge is sequenced effectively for long-term retention.
