Holmer Lake Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school since its previous inspection in November 2017. The school is characterized by a welcoming and caring environment, where leaders and staff hold high expectations for pupils' behavior and learning. The systematic and well-resourced approach to teaching phonics has proven effective, resulting in nearly all pupils in key stage 1 mastering the phonics code and many reading fluently.
