Bilston Church of England Primary School continues to demonstrate good performance overall, maintaining high aspirations for all its pupils. The school excels in creating an inclusive environment, which is particularly beneficial for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Significant resources, including dedicated speech and language support, help students to overcome barriers to learning, allowing many to thrive despite challenges. The active engagement of pupils in a calm and well-structured learning environment contributes to their positive experiences at school. However, there are areas needing improvement, particularly regarding the clarity of the curriculum in some foundation subjects, which can lead to inconsistencies in teaching. Furthermore, while teachers generally adapt their instructions based on assessment, there are occasions when support is not as effective as it could be, leading to some pupils experiencing delays in their learning. Despite these concerns, the school has a strong foundation and is committed to continual improvement.
