The main area for improvement is curriculum oversight in a few subjects. In these subjects, leaders do not check implementation and impact as consistently as in English and mathematics, so adaptations that would help some pupils secure their understanding are not made swiftly enough. Behaviour is generally good and pupils are polite and respectful in lessons, but conduct is less consistent during unstructured times, which leaders are already prioritising. Overall, the school is well led and effective, with a clear understanding of what it needs to do next.
