Eridge House School is currently providing a good quality of education for its pupils aged 2 to 11 years, demonstrating notable strengths in curriculum delivery and pupil engagement. The school fosters an environment that encourages personal excellence and provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, contributing to the students' enthusiasm for learning. However, the safeguarding procedures are marked as inadequate, highlighting concerns about compliance with regulations regarding staff suitability checks and aspects of the complaints policy, which need addressing promptly. While the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils is outstanding, the school must enhance its policies to ensure all pupils' welfare and safety. The Early Years Foundation Stage also shows good outcomes for children, yet improvement is necessary in evaluating children’s progress over time to support their learning further. Overall, the school has good capacity for ongoing development, supported by positive parent feedback regarding its community feel and accessible staff.
