Brinsworth Academy continues to demonstrate solid performance, being rated as a good school in this recent inspection. The school fosters a warm and inclusive environment where pupils receive strong support to reach their potential. Parents and staff speak positively about the extra efforts made by teachers to aid student development. The curriculum is effectively planned, considering the interests and aspirations of the students, although there are some areas in the key stage 3 curriculum where depth could be improved. While the school excels in many areas, there are concerns regarding the support for pupils at the earliest stages of reading and the depth of knowledge provided in some subjects. Leaders are actively working on these weaknesses, having identified areas for improvement, such as enhancing the phonics support and ensuring the new religious studies curriculum effectively addresses the knowledge gaps previously noted. Overall, the school's commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration among stakeholders is evident.
