Carre's Grammar School has made significant progress since its last inspection, moving from an inadequate rating to good overall effectiveness. The school provides a well-structured and ambitious curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of its pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The leadership, under the guidance of the executive headteacher, has been effective in creating an environment where pupils feel safe and valued, leading to high standards of behaviour and a positive atmosphere for learning. Although the school has numerous strengths, there is still some work to be done to ensure the curriculum is consistently implemented across all subjects to maximize student achievement.
