Clacton County High School continues to maintain good standards since its last inspection, demonstrating effective leadership under the head of school, Chris Taylor, and support from Sigma Trust. The school provides a positive and safe environment where pupils enjoy learning and feel valued. Although most students progress well academically, there are concerns regarding some pupils' mastery of basic reading and writing skills, which hinders their full engagement with the curriculum. The school is proactive in addressing challenges and fostering good relationships between staff and students, contributing to a respectful school culture.
