Corby Technical School

Corby Technical School is a welcoming, inclusive 11–18 academy within the Brooke Weston Trust. Pupils feel safe, relationships with staff are strong, behaviour and attendance are good, and there is a shared aspirational culture. The school has an ambitious curriculum, teaches pupils using subject specialists, identifies and supports pupils with SEND promptly, prioritises reading, and offers strong personal development, careers guidance and extra-curricular opportunities. The sixth form provides personalised support and students move on to aspirational destinations. Safeguarding is effective. This was the first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and, under current arrangements, no overall effectiveness grade was given; each key judgement was good, with the previous inspection judged outstanding.
