The Nethersole CofE Academy is currently performing at a level that requires improvement after previously being rated inadequate. While pupils express enjoyment and a sense of safety at the school, there are notable concerns about the level of academic achievement, especially in English and mathematics, where some pupils are not meeting their potential. The school has made strides in developing a well-sequenced curriculum and fostering positive relationships, but the delivery of this curriculum remains inconsistent. This inconsistency, along with inadequate support for some students with additional needs, results in gaps in knowledge and misconceptions among pupils.
