Hillsborough Primary School is performing well, achieving a 'Good' overall rating in its latest Ofsted inspection. The school has a positive atmosphere where pupils are polite, friendly, and feel safe. Leaders demonstrate high aspirations for their students and have implemented a curriculum that supports the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. Despite some strengths, there are areas for improvement, particularly in the clarity of the science curriculum and students’ retention of knowledge in certain subjects. This was the school’s first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic, and its context includes a high level of pupil movement prior to the pandemic.
