Hamsey Green Primary is performing well overall, achieving a 'Good' rating across all inspected domains. This was the school's first inspection since it became part of Tandridge Learning Trust, following its conversion to an academy in May 2017. The school has made significant progress in establishing a strong educational culture, where pupils are proud, happy, and engaged in their learning. Notable strengths include the culture of high expectations and effective communication between the school and parents, leading to a supportive community environment. However, there are some areas for improvement. While the curriculum is well-structured in most subjects, leaders recognize the need to enhance curriculum planning in history and modern foreign languages. Additionally, although the phonics program is systematic, certain reading resources do not adequately match the phonics stage, affecting some pupils' reading development.
