Elworth Hall Primary School is a friendly, welcoming school where pupils are happy, safe and polite, and where relationships and behaviour are strong. Inspectors found the school good in quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management, with early years provision standing out as particularly strong. Children get off to a flying start in Reception, benefit from a seamless transition into Year 1, and most pupils leave Year 6 well prepared for the next stage. This was the school's first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and its first section 5 inspection since converting to academy status in 2022; its predecessor had been judged to require improvement. The school is part of the Chancery Multi Academy Trust, and trustees and the local governing body are seen as effective in challenging and supporting improvement.
