TILT Education is a small independent special school where all 12 pupils have education, health and care plans and most arrive with turbulent previous experiences of education. In this first standard inspection since registration in June 2025, the school was judged to reach a strong standard across all evaluation areas, with safeguarding standards met. Pupils thrive because staff balance nurturing emotional development with consistently high academic expectations, leading to rapid progress from typically low starting points and successful preparation for the next stage of education, employment or training.
