Holte School has made significant progress since its previous inspection, achieving a 'Good' rating in overall effectiveness and all key areas including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth-form provision. The school fosters a calm and inclusive environment where students are respectful and supported, particularly in their pastoral care. High expectations for behaviour and learning have been established, leading to above-average attendance and a strong school community involved in various extracurricular activities. Despite its strengths, the school faces challenges in ensuring consistent delivery of the curriculum across subjects, which impacts students' academic success. While leaders have a clear vision for improvement and support students with special educational needs well, there are gaps in provision, particularly regarding timely career information for pupils. Nevertheless, the leadership is well-informed and is actively working to enhance the educational experience and outcomes for all students.
