Harrington Junior School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. The recent inspection highlighted the positive transition to a new school building, with pupils demonstrating excitement and pride in their learning environment. There is a strong emphasis on developing pupils' independence and resourcefulness, and the school's leadership is committed to ensuring all children achieve their best. Not only do parents appreciate the dedication of staff, but they are also hopeful for the prompt return of extra-curricular activities that were affected by the pandemic. However, there are areas that need attention, particularly in the teaching of phonics where inconsistencies have been noted, hindering some pupils' progress in reading.
