Saint Pierre School

Saint Pierre School requires improvement overall. Although it has made significant strides since its previous inspection, moving from inadequate to requiring improvement, there are still notable gaps in the leadership and management of the school. Leaders have not effectively implemented risk management policies, and some independent school standards are unmet, reflecting an overly positive self-assessment of their effectiveness. However, the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment is rated as good, with students making good progress and personal development being exceptionally well promoted.

Strengths

• Sustained good teaching, learning and assessment since the previous inspection.

Areas for Improvement

• Leaders and proprietors need to improve risk assessment and hazard management.
• Inconsistent monitoring of compliance with independent school standards.
• Teachers do not consistently challenge pupils to work at greater depth.
