Ivington CofE Primary and Pre-School continues to perform well following its previous inspection, demonstrating effective action to maintain established standards. The school is characterized by its strong community ties and a nurturing environment where pupils, including those with special educational needs, are supported to achieve their potential. Despite challenges such as recent flooding, the school has maintained a commitment to high standards in academics, particularly in reading and mathematics. Furthermore, many pupils have positive attitudes toward their learning and enjoy engaging extracurricular activities. However, the school faces challenges in the area of writing, where some pupils struggle with handwriting and expressing themselves independently. Additionally, there is a need for greater emphasis on educating pupils about fundamental British values and the diverse cultures within the UK. These aspects are recognized as areas for development to ensure a well-rounded education for all pupils and better preparation for life beyond primary school.
