Wirral Metropolitan College is performing at an expected standard overall, with strong aspects of provision for learners with high needs and notable successes in apprenticeships. Leaders have engaged effectively with local industries and identified regional skills needs, helping students develop relevant skills for employment. While there are positive indicators of student progress in vocational and technical qualifications, there are concerns regarding the achievement rates in GCSE English and mathematics, particularly for younger learners who have shown a decline in progress. The college has made commendable efforts to create an inclusive environment, but challenges remain in ensuring that all students consistently achieve their best outcomes.
