Birkenhead Park School is currently rated as requiring improvement, primarily due to the quality of education. Although the school has made strides in creating a positive culture with improved behaviour and attitudes among pupils, it acknowledges that many students have not historically achieved well. Recent leadership changes within the Bepart Educational Trust have started to foster a culture of ambition for academic success and a more consistent curriculum delivery, though the full impact of these changes is yet to be seen. Attendance remains a challenge, as efforts are underway to enhance pupils' regular participation in school activities.
