Founded with sponsorship from the City of London Corporation, the school also partners with City Academy, Hackney and City of London Academy Islington. The school's specialisms include Business and Enterprise as well as Sport; it is noteworthy for its non-curricular "Business Studies" subject, which nurtures entrepreneurial skills in its students.
