Quarrydale Academy, situated at Stoneyford Road, NG17 2DU, is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in the ex-mining and textile community of Sutton, Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The school opened in 1958, initially as Stoneyford Road Secondary Modern School, with a four-stream education and now enrolls 1,035 students between ages 11 and 18. In March 2017, Ofsted judged Quarrydale Academy to be 'good.'

The school has undergone recent improvements, such as refurnishing and modernizing science classrooms, and converting existing spaces into new computer rooms. However, other subject blocks have been relocated. The school experiences slightly above-average absenteeism, with 6.9% of authorized absences, and a much higher rate of 3% unauthorized absences.

Quarrydale's academic performance is notable, with a high proportion of students achieving five GCSEs at grades A* to C, including in English and mathematics. The school consistently outperforms nearby rival Sutton Community Academy in league tables and overall image.

Quarrydale Academy boasts an alumni list that includes professional athletes, such as Kris Commons, a footballer for Celtic FC and Scotland international, Steve Ogrizovic, a retired goalkeeper for Coventry City FC, and Justin Walker, a soccer player. Quarrydale can also claim former student Daniel Tompkins, the vocalist of progressive metal band Tesseract, and poet Peter Sansom as its alumni.
