Harwood Meadows Primary School has been evaluated as good overall during its first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic. Pupils demonstrate happiness and feel safe while attending the school. They engage well with their learning and report positive relationships with staff. Leadership has set high expectations for both behavior and academic performance, and there have been significant improvements, particularly in early years phonics education. However, the pandemic has impacted some areas of the curriculum, causing delays in fully establishing key knowledge in certain subjects, which is currently being addressed by the leadership team.
