LWS Academy has transitioned to a good overall effectiveness rating since its last inspection when it required improvement. The school provides a supportive and caring environment for pupils, many of whom have complex needs. The expert staff foster strong relationships with students, enabling them to feel safe and secure, which positively impacts their learning. While the leadership team demonstrates a clear ambition for pupils' academic and personal development, and the curriculum has made significant improvements accounting for students' diverse needs, some areas still require further attention to achieve consistency across all subjects.
