Inspectors found the school performing well across the board: the curriculum is ambitious and logically sequenced, reading and phonics are prioritised, behaviour is strong, attendance is high, and pupils enjoy a wide range of enrichment and responsibilities. Early years provision is also strong, and safeguarding is effective. Leaders, governors and the trust know the school well and are supporting continued improvement, while staff and parents are positive about the new leadership team. There are still a couple of areas to sharpen. In a minority of subjects, some pupils do not retain what they have learned over time, which limits how securely they can build later knowledge.
