Inspectors found all key areas good, including early years provision, and safeguarding arrangements are effective. The school was previously judged to require improvement and joined Learn Academies Trust in February 2024; the trust has played an important role in supporting improvement. Pupils, including those with SEND, are well included and achieve well across a broad curriculum. The school's reading provision is a clear strength, with specialist staff training, targeted support and confident, fluent readers. Early years children get off to a positive start, SEND needs are identified quickly, and personal development is well designed, with pupils taking on responsibilities and showing respect for others. Attendance has improved to national average, and staff morale is high. Leaders, governors and trust officers have a clear vision and a full picture of the school. The main area for development is the curriculum. Recent changes have been made and programmes of study are clear, but their impact has not yet been fully realised. The school, with trust support, should continue embedding the curriculum so that all pupils achieve the highest standards of which they are capable. Under the current inspection framework, no overall effectiveness grade was awarded.
