Hawthorn

This material change inspection was carried out for Hawthorn, an independent special school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, all of whom have an education, health and care plan. The school applied to the Department for Education to extend its age range to 19, and inspectors found it is likely to meet the relevant independent school standards if that change is implemented. The report focuses on leadership and management, welfare, health and safety, and the suitability of staff and proprietors.
