St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is a diverse and welcoming institution where pupils enjoy learning and contributing to their community. The school's caring staff are responsive to students' concerns, and numerous extracurricular activities enrich the children's experience. Although the curriculum is largely well-organised and allows for inclusion of all pupils, including those with special educational needs, some subjects reveal gaps in the knowledge pupils need to retain, which impacts their readiness for the next educational stage. Leaders recognize the difficulties with phonics and knowledge retention and have strategies in place to address these issues moving forward.
