Chieveley Primary School is a welcoming and friendly community primary school. The October 2024 inspection was the school’s first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and followed the appointment of a new headteacher in April 2024. Inspectors found the school performing well across its core provision, with pupils generally enjoying school, attending regularly, behaving well and feeling safe. Parents are largely positive, and pupils benefit from strong relationships with staff and a range of responsibilities and extra-curricular activities. Safeguarding arrangements are effective.
