Stamford Green Primary School and Nursery is an exceptionally strong school. Inspectors found outstanding provision in every judged area: the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and early years. Pupils are safe, happy and proud to attend, and they show exceptional attitudes to learning, very strong behaviour and a genuine love of reading. The curriculum is ambitious and well sequenced from nursery to Year 6, teaching is consistently high quality, and pupils with SEND or from disadvantaged backgrounds are identified quickly and supported extremely well. Early years provision is carefully planned, with excellent care and strong support for communication, language, early literacy and numeracy. Leadership is rigorous and well supported by governors, who know the school well and set an ambitious vision. Staff, pupils and parents appreciate the school's family-like atmosphere. Safeguarding arrangements are effective, attendance is generally strong, and personal development is enriched through leadership roles, charity work, clubs and a strong values culture. This was the school's first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and its first section 5 inspection since 2015; it had previously been exempt because it was judged outstanding. The school has grown considerably since then, from 420 to 695 pupils, and now includes its own nursery. Inspectors did not identify any areas of concern or underperformance.
