Fred Longworth High School continues to be a good school. It offers a supportive and welcoming environment where pupils thrive academically and socially. The school places high importance on mental health and well-being, ensuring pupils feel safe and valued. With a focus on inclusivity, especially for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), the staff helps students prepare well for their future endeavors through a variety of extracurricular activities and a broad curriculum. Despite these strengths, there are occasional gaps in the effectiveness of teaching methods which affect how well some pupils retain knowledge.
